A unique shopping experience awaits you in the beautifully restored Old Railway Station, Molesworth Road, Cookstown between 12 noon and 2 pm any Friday or Saturday.

You can choose from a tempting selection of food which has been baked in local country kitchens. Thus you can be sure it will taste as good as food used to taste. There are cakes, fruit tarts, Irish soda, wheaten and potato bread, savouries, biscuits and jams. Also fresh Free Range, Barn and Duck eggs, seasonal vegetables and home pressed apple juice. If you come on the right day you may even see someone baking soda bread and pancakes or churning real country butter. Then you can sample these with home made jam and a cup of tea whilst sitting beside the real turf fire.
